From Bentwater to Midtown Atlanta
Any route option from Bentwater to midtown Atlanta will show roughly one hour travel time on the GPS. Of course, that doesn’t account for traffic, and we know the metro Atlanta area has traffic! But, there are several option to access the city from Bentwater. Choose your favorite route, or try all 3 to determine what works bet for your commute. Access to other parts of Atlanta may be an even quicker commute!
Take Interstate 75 to Atlanta
From Bentwater Drive, take a left onto Cedarcrest Road. 3 miles later, turn right onto US Highway 41 to head South. In 2 miles, use the left 2 lanes at the traffic light to turn right onto Highway 92 towards Acworth. Enjoy the view are you drive over the lake. Turn left onto Cherokee Street. In half a mile, you can take a slight right and use the ramp to merge onto interstate 75 headed South toward Atlanta.
Once you’re on interstate 75, you will travel about 31 miles, then take exit 248A to remain on 75S. Travel 27 miles on the interstate and you will have reached downtown Atlanta. At this point you can choose the exit that works best to take you to your place of employment. Of course, if your job is close to the perimeter, you could have gotten off at any previous exit!
Take Highway 278 from Bentwater to Atlanta
From Bentwater Drive, take a right onto Cedarcrest Road. At the traffic light, continue straight ahead-as you pass by Starbucks, the road name becomes Highway 92. After about 9 miles, take a left onto Highway 278. Highway 278 will take you through the main concourse of Hiram towards I-20.
Use the entrance ramp to take interstate 20 East. Take a peek at Six Flags Over Georgia. After roughly 12 miles, you’ll be in Atlanta. This route takes approximately 1 hour 13 minutes without traffic.
